Timeline

Education, work, and the path into teaching

  1. 2010–2015

    Foundations in Mumbai

I studied Information Technology at the University of Mumbai while beginning work on the customer and technical support desks at Firstsource and Serco. Those first roles taught me how people experience a system when something goes wrong, and how much clear explanation matters.

  2. 2015–2018

From customers to systems and data

At QuantInsti I worked on lead generation and sales for algorithmic-trading education. I then completed a master's in Information Systems at California State University, Fullerton, alongside research and graduate-assistant work. That period connected the business questions I had been hearing to databases, analytics, and software systems.

  3. 2019

    Turning data into decisions

At Plethora Businesses and Jukin Media, I built reporting workflows, data models, dashboards, and KPI analysis with SQL, Excel automation, and Power BI. The work was less about producing more numbers than making the useful ones visible at the right moment.

  4. 2020–2024

    Building software used every day

I spent five years at The Learning Experience building in-house applications and REST APIs in Node.js and TypeScript, with React and jQuery on the front end. That included CORE, the operations platform its child-care centers run on, and TimeClock, used for child and parent check-ins. Production work added reliability, security, and maintainability to the way I thought about useful software.

  5. 2025–Now

    Teaching the whole path

I now teach Python, web development, SQL, C++, and Java at CM Techno Solution. I bring the user's view from support, the decision-maker's view from analytics, and the engineer's view from production software into the classroom. The through line is making complex systems legible enough to use, maintain, and explain.
