Mikhil Mistry

Senior Instructor at CM Techno Solution · Mumbai

Hi. My name is Mikhil Mistry, and I teach software in Mumbai, mostly to people changing careers or sharpening the one they already have. Day to day that means Python, web development, and SQL, plus C++ and Java when a class calls for something closer to the metal. I like teaching across that range, because moving between a high-level script and a lower-level language is where a lot of the useful intuition lives.

Before the classroom I spent about a decade building software and untangling data: in-house applications and REST APIs, reporting pipelines and dashboards, and the odd stubborn spreadsheet nobody else wanted to touch. That work is where most of my examples come from, and it is why I care less about syntax than about helping someone see why a piece of code is shaped the way it is. Good code, like a good explanation, is mostly about leaving out the parts that do not matter.

If you want the longer version, there is more about me, a handful of things I have been writing, and my resume if you are here for the short one. The easiest way to reach me is by email.
