For years my writing lived in scattered notes, Slack threads, and the odd internal wiki page. This is my attempt to keep some of it in one place, a small, quiet site I actually own.

I've spent a decade somewhere between software and data: building in-house apps and REST APIs in Node.js and TypeScript, wrangling SQL and Power BI dashboards, and, earlier on, helping people over the phone with their bank cards and set-top boxes.

That range is the thread I want to pull on here: notes on building software that respects the data underneath it, and the people on top of it. No fixed schedule, no grand plan. Just things worth writing down.
